Google sign-in and account allowance

Account-based generation uses Google sign-in. We request your Google account identifier and verified email address to identify your account and track its lifetime allowance of 5 free generations across devices. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, or Contacts. An essential secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. Signing out removes that session; it does not reset your account allowance.

Generation requests and saved names

Your guest preview is generated on your device. The preview results and the record that you used your one guest batch are stored in this browser.

When you generate names while signed in, we process your generation input and settings on our server and store the delivered suggestions with your account to recover retried requests without charging your allowance twice. Avoid entering your full legal name or other private information. Favorites saved with the Save button remain in this browser's local storage and are not synchronized across devices. Clearing site data removes those favorites but does not reset your account allowance. Contact us to request access to or deletion of account data; records may need to be retained where required by law or to prevent abuse.

Hosting and payments

Cloudflare provides website delivery, server processing and account data storage. Google provides sign-in under Google's Privacy Policy. Waffo processes paid purchases on its hosted checkout. Billing and payment details you enter there are handled by Waffo and its payment providers; we do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. We send an opaque order reference and product information to associate each purchase with your signed-in account. We retain order references, payment or refund confirmations, and generation-credit records to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate crediting, and handle support. Waffo may collect contact, billing, and technical information under the privacy terms presented at checkout.

Contact messages and website delivery

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and your email address so we can respond. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures page visits, engagement, successful generations, copying names, saving favorites and opening checkout. Our custom events send the page, a preset naming style where relevant, and a result count. They do not send your input words, generated names, Google account identifier, login email, payment details or order references. We remove query strings and fragments from the page address supplied to Analytics and supply only the origin of the referring website. Google also processes technical information associated with analytics requests under its privacy policy.

Before you allow analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Choosing Reject analytics leaves the tool available. We store your analytics choice in this browser for 180 days. You can change it using Analytics preferences in the footer; withdrawing consent stops further optional analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. It does not delete data already received by Google. Analytics preferences and saved names are separate from the essential sign-in cookie. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Google AdSense is not installed.

Third-party services and your choices

Third-party services, including Google, have their own privacy policies. Read Google's Privacy Policy and its explanation of how Google uses cookies. Your browser settings let you manage cookies and local site data; clearing local storage also removes your saved names.
